Design Electric, Inc. was founded by Maruice J Bischoff and his family in 1972 and is now managed by Douglas Bischoff, President of Design Electrical Contractors, Inc.

The company started in the electrical contracting business with approximately five employees and has now grown to become the largest electrical contractor in Central Minnesota.

Our company employs highly skilled Master and Journeyman Electricians, Apprentices, Laborers, Estimators and a full office and warehouse staff.

Design Electric's work is derived mostly from commercial/industrial projects, government projects and traffic signal/street lighting projects throughout Central Minnesota. These projects are made up of both new construction and remodeling work. We also perform maintenance work for many local businesses.
